The Spot Coffee Shop in Fort Payne

They left off my cheese and forgot my pickle. And it wasn't toasted.

A great little place to hang out in downtown Fort Payne!!! I am typically a LOVER of Starbucks French Vanilla Frappé +espresso. Got the Vanilla Freeze at The Spot and added espresso, I swear it was a good or better!!! Definitely a must try if you're looking for something to do in Fort Payne!!!

Stopped for a quick mid-afternoon snack and loved it! The iced coffee was worth the drive to be sure, but the cheese french bread pizza was surprisingly good. Historic building adds to the quaint atmosphere. I'll be back!

Unexpectedly cute and very adorable. Found this place on accident. Great menu for snacks, sandwiches and coffee. Definitely a must try.

Always been a decent coffee shop. I enjoy the vibe and atmosphere there it always seems really relaxed. They have a variety of drinks and entrees on the menu. You can usually get a good cup of coffee.

Great atmosphere, great food and drinks. My only complaint is that it's always so loud that it's hard to have a conversation. I don't think I've ever ordered anything I didn't like.

Very cool location in downtown fort Payne. Everything is vintage. The coffee is good and the service is even better. It's just really overpriced.

Great spot to grab lunch or sit and hang out for a bit. Comfortable environment and good food. I love the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup. Milkshakes are always popular too.

Best place in town. Love the "The Spot" frozen coffee thing, I don't care how many calories are in it. Worth it. Love how convenient this place is for a quick lunch but I wish there were other side options instead of the chips. Best part is they sell local artwork, so there's always fun stuff to look at.

I was completely ready to be UNDERwhelmed. I had read so many glowing reports and couldn't imagine that it could be "all that" (I had NOT looked at any photos, however). Well, I highly recommend that you do the same : stop reading about it/looking at photos! STOP! INSTEAD, walk through the front door with no expectations 😂 (and, yes, there's plenty of space for kiddos and even highchairs 😉)

This place has such a cool and unique atmosphere! The staff were friendly and handled a group really well. The prices are actually cheaper than I'm used to, but the drink quality was great! I had the honeydew bubble tea 💜

Four stars because it's a great little place even though there were a few too many flies inside and the young ladies who waited on us totally forgot our drinks. But the food is great!Nice and quiet laid back environment with plenty of places to sit comfortabley.They even have couches! And nice music. Really neat little place to chill for a few if your just passing through or hanging out around town.

Awesome food with a great vibe. My favorite is the black bean burger! Love the americanos as well. If you are looking for a great spot to kick back open your laptop and listen to good music this is for you. The biggest issue, they seriously need to clean the air. It is so smoky inside you can hardly sit inside for more than 30 minutes. They apparently cook with no ventilation.

This place is hard to enter when you're disabled, but the staff and atmosphere are very friendly and warm. The milk alternative was a godsend for me. The staff did a great job of ignoring my service dog! It was nice to spend some time here. Will return if my travels bring me back!!!

Very cool coffee spot. I'm from southern California and it easily matched the hipster coffee shops of LA only without the attitude. Friendly service and good coffee though I'm no connoisseur. I happened to be in Fort Pyne and was looking for a Starbucks but this popped up instead and it's definitely an upgrade. Great interior decorations and art.

Had to wait forever and the staff seemed incredibly stressed.

I really liked the atmosphere, it's a really cool vintage coffee shop. But the brewed coffee was mediocre and it was not hot. Maybe try one of their cappuccino beverages.

Comfy, cozy, excellent service and atmosphere. Come here to chill, eat, or warm by the many fireplaces. Totally recommend the Bubble Tea!

Food is always delicious, as well as the drinks. The owner is nice, even gave us a free sample of one of their coffee frappes!

Coffee tasted water down and the girls they help us didnt know how to pour shots. The expresso became bitter.

I love the atmosphere! It really is a place to just sit and take it all in. Something that Fort Payne really needed! Their food is great...the drinks are great...the people are great! They just go out of their way to serve...and thats awesome! :)

Stopped here to eat while driving and walking the worlds longest yard sale. I got the Italian panini and it was AMAZING. my friend got the Reuben. We were bit full after half a sandwich but I had to finish it- it was soooo good. Cool atmosphere and the shakes and lattes looked fabulous. Very good!

Great coffee. Funky little joint offering custom drinks, good food and awesome service. Specialty coffees and frappes are inventive and delicious. Pastries are a full serving and rich. If you're in Ff Payne drop by it's well worth it. The girl behind the counter remembered my preference after the first visit. Awesome

In addition to the great coffee, the decorations are so nice. All the arts are wonderful. I am so sad I do not live there. However, I am so glad we stopped by.

Amazing coffee shop to go to, lacking in the taste but I don't think that's important for this type of business, used to go here and chill and drink coffee 10/10.

The other restaurants in downtown Fort Payne need to take notes from this trendy little sandwich spot (no pun intended). GOOD QUALITY INGREDIENTS(!!) coupled with a varied menu and the ability to put those ingredients together in tasty creations is what it takes to grow and succeed, and they do an admirable job of that. It is an overdue great addition to downtown. It is a great meeting spot, too!

Great food! Friendly people. The grilled chicken pesto panini is wonderful!! And the "Spot On" drink is perfectly named, because it is just that.... spot on! It's delicious!!

Amazing grilled cheese and tomato and basil soup’s there chicken and basil sandwich was on point lots of cozy dishes to fill your tummy with yummy. They also have an outdoor eating section which you can enjoy with your pup
